Quang Binh Welcomes the First Tourists from Chungcheong, Korea

On November 29th, the Quang Binh Department of Tourism, in collaboration with local tourism businesses, welcomed two tourist groups from Chungcheong, Korea. This event marks a significant milestone in promoting connections and expanding the Korean market for Quang Binh's tourism industry, facilitated by Vk Media & Trading Company.

During their stay in Quang Binh, the tourists will be accommodated at the Celina Peninsula Resort and GoldCoast Hotel Resort & Spa. They will have the opportunity to explore various attractions, including Phong Nha Cave, Thien Duong Cave, and the Chay River - Dark Cave. Additionally, they will enjoy a city tour of Dong Hoi and experience the unique cuisine of Quang Binh.

This successful welcome is a promising result of the ongoing efforts to market Quang Binh tourism specifically to the Chungcheong region and Korea as a whole. These initiatives have been in progress since July and aim to boost international tourism to Quang Binh in 2024 and beyond.

Mr. Park Sill, a representative of the delegation, expressed his appreciation for the warm reception, stating, "This is the first time we have come to Quang Binh, and we were welcomed very enthusiastically. The people here are warm and friendly. I send my best wishes and hope that more Korean tourists will visit Quang Binh in the future."

Looking ahead, Vk Media & Trading Company plans to bring an additional 2-3 groups, totaling over 100 guests, before the Lunar New Year. They also anticipate bringing many more Korean tourist groups to Quang Binh in 2025.

Earlier, on July 18, 19, and 20, the Quang Binh Department of Tourism partnered with Vk Media & Trading Company to conduct a survey program for 25 CEOs, managers, and directors from major airlines and travel agencies in the Chungcheong region. Participating companies included Hana Travel Club, Hana Tour, Ever Tour, Mirea Tourism, New Star, ERO K Airlines, and Beomhan Air Travel. The goal of this initiative was to strengthen connections and attract tourists from this promising market.
